You can read at your leisure, it is in two parts. Be blessed!

Part One:
What or I should ask who or what; Who/What Is The Love of our Lives?
That is an easy one for married couples to answer, people in a relationship looking forward to marriage, people with s/o’s… The list goes on!
But, hold on! Why did you meet? Let me ask a different way “How did you meet?”

“Oh! I know where he is going with this!”
Really?
Have you considered what love makes you do? (And that is love with a small “L”!) Think about it! We do so much for love! Diamond rings, cars, houses… The list is untenable!

Our ways are known! Do you think it was ‘by chance’ that you were in the same class, school, had the same friends, were in the same church, group, movie, store… I could go on. Just how and why did you meet? Was there something amiss? There are so many possibilities, think hard! There was something going on! Why did you ‘happen’ to meet that one? Are you ‘truly’ meant to be together?
Hold up! The answer is “That is where you are!” Make it work! You have to, for married couples- time to start praying together! For real! “Anything you agree on is established in Heavenly places!” Who is your agreement partner? Seriously! And I’d best not here from married couples brethren, someone in prayer group, a phone call away! You are one!
Check this out:
“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Genesis 2:24

Jesus said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’
So they are no longer two, but one flesh.”
Matthew 19:5

It goes on…
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.
However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”
Ephesians 5:31-33

I guess we are making headway. Something was raised in a conversation recently, “What if a Spouse wants something that is not acceptable to me.” Really? Let us get this straight! Your Spouse is your other half! There should be NO secrets or ‘untold/unshared’ desires/wants/needs between the two of you! ALL should be spoken about/shared before you reach that point!
I started this share off for married couples or individuals looking to get hitched. But this goes much further and should be shared/discussed with individuals heading in that direction. A few things that should be set in stone before things get “hot and steamy.” An arrangement, a discussion! What makes you happy/satisfied?

The bottom line is simple: “That is your partner for life!” Are you working on it? Funny enough, divorce is so easily a “way out!” Really? A way out of What? A vow? An agreement? A promise?
Let me ask a simple question: “Are you untrustworthy?” If and when you say something, can you be believed? Should you be believed?
Hmm! “Till death do us part!” Did you say that? How about an “Amen” (And so it will be!) When you were pronounced Man and wife?
The Significance of Wedding Vows. At the center of any marriage ceremony are thewedding vows. They are the words spoken by the couple to each other which express both an intent and a promise. … The words of thevows usually speak about the meaning and potential of marriage.

The Significance of Wedding Vows

I even ‘stroll’ away from The Word here, just to show the importance of “Vows.” You made them! I will ask a simple question, were you forced/tricked or ‘made to’? I have to ask being from a country where arranged marriages were common. I will state the obvious, in Nigeria, this was done. Yes, people may have started in a rut, but they found reasons to respect, appreciate and need their partner in their lives. I am just sayin’. We in this community, in this present day, make up our own minds.

Part 2:
As said before, this is not only for couples but rather for individuals considering taking the plunge! What are you jumping into? Can you swim?

Chil’ please! Let’s pray:
