“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“ ‘Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one. ’

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

This speaks LOUDLY to us! There are so many posts online that ask you to type “Amen” if you want prayers answered or if you “believe.”

When this was written, not only was it valid for the time but it is valid today. You DO NOT need to “like” and\or share. Simply know in your heart what you ask for, believing and it shall be given.

If you stand asking for forgiveness, and expect it; first forgive those who have wronged you.

“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.”

Mathew 18:15

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the

altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”

Matthew 5:23,24

We have been taught by The teacher how to receive what has been poured out. Forgive to be forgiven, give to receive, believe to be given.

All this “like”, “share” to receive is NOT biblical, be quiet about your relationship with God, let it be seen; do NOT announce/pronounce it, Amen
