Can and do we read The Word?
Do we know it? live it?
I must ask this question: Do we Love The Word?
We can break this down.
Where is The Word from?
As it was written… Who was led to share? Individuals who had seen/experienced/felt and/or seen.
What ‘value’ do YOU assign to ‘feelings?’ “Don’t do this, or else!”
Are you ever ‘right?’ Or I should ask: “How many times have you been wrong?”
Many of us may find it difficult to fathom, but you are here, no?
Yes! You may have current ‘difficulties/challenges’, it is for a ‘period’. Rise up and stand rooted in The Word.
God has Said. Believe, He will do!
We have been over ‘faith’ so many times; Hebrew 11:1.
Our experience teaches us that ‘seeing is believing.’ Faith, is the opposite, it is knowing without seeing, for God Who said it, is not Man that He should lie.
He created The Universe, hard to imagine. We exist in a reality where planets have a ‘string’ that keeps all in line.
Again, when we read The Bible, so very much is shared in it! Its Word is alive! It meets us at the place of all our wants and needs!
All we experience has been experienced before. Loss of a job, illness, sorrow, financial crisis?
What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which one can say,
“Look! This is something new”?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.
Our God is unchanging:
Steadfast is He!
“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Hardship at hand?
For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone. Teach me Thy way, O LORD; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear Thy name. I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.
For great is Thy mercy toward me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because Thou, LORD, hast embraced me, and comforted me.
I am in The Hand of He Who created the Universe! When The Word says:
You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.
I want to share a resource for pretty much all we are faced with and experience:
