They kinda miss fact!
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.”
Matthew 3:11
John the baptist was a minister. A drop of water from the ‘past’, as many had done before him, he preached The Word.
He DID prophesy as led by The Spirit, he took no chances. In him was a voice that told His Spirit what would occur.
There are many led by passion/desire; be silent and meditate on The Word!
God has said:
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
Habakuk 2:3
“For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”
Hebrews 10:37
The HUGE point is that with our Lord, a day is as a thousand years…2 Peter 3:8
“For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.” Thousand years are not long, for God has existed from eternity and will exist until eternity.
The first part of the saying actually is a bit harder to understand. “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years”.
There is much to be done! A Kingdom, the Human race, challenges, requests, petitions…
So much goes on in the Spiritual. I will bring to mind Daniel’s fast and prayer. He prayed until he had results. But, the angel who delivered the message was withheld.
“The man said to me, “Daniel, you are highly respected. Pay attention to my words. Stand up, because I’ve been sent to you.” When he said this to me, I stood up, trembling. He told me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. God has heard everything that you said ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in front of your God so that you could learn to understand things. I have come in response to your prayer. The commander of the Persian kingdom opposed me for 21 days. But then Michael, one of the chief commanders, came to help me because I was left alone with the kings of Persia.”
Daniel 10:11-13
So many things to be pointed out here! As soon as Daniel humbled himself and prayed, his answer was sent! It goes on to explain what occured in the spiritual realm.
Amazing, all is run by God utilizing those He appointed. In our time – 21 “days” of prayer, in spiritual ‘time’ – a ‘period’. In this case Michael – the archangel came to aid him.
Pray and pray y’all, Amen. Knock until the door is opened. Giving up is not an option! Many times we undergo trials to make us stronger! Remember, God only permits that which you can bear. And there is always a way out!
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
