Wow! Y’all, I was led to Proverbs andcit teems with truth for the everyday! To even take a few verses a day will straighten a gnarly oak. To rise with the knowledge is a blessing to be raised on it is a tribe of blessings unto itself.
This will be a source of many shares, we have touched on quite a few books. I will admit that we bypassed Proverbs – a trove of learning, Amen
To get started, let us quickly share and have a smidgen to meditate upon:
The solid ground/the way of the upright is to depart from evil (wrongdoings/Spirit guided areas not to glean from, lean into, wander – a word for the wise!)
The soul that keepeth it’s way based on the path of righteousness displayed by Jesus, preserveth its essence – God given and granted.
Pride goeth before destruction,(We have all heard “Pride comes before a fall.” Ever wonder where that is from?)
A haughty spirit before a fall.
Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
The spirit that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in The LORD, happy is the spirit/mind/essence/presence.
As shared, we have under explored Proverbs! The Word is all connected!
“All wisdom comes from The Lord,
and so do common sense
and understanding.
God gives helpful advice
to everyone who obeys Him
and protects all of those
who live as they should.
The angel’s of The Lord encamp around those who do His will.
God sees that justice is done,
and He watches over everyone
who is faithful to Him.
Proverbs 2:6-8
This leads us right into Psalm 34:7-9:
The angel of The Lord encamps around those who fear Him,
and God delivers them.
Taste and see that The Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.
Fear The Lord, you His holy people,
for those who fear Him lack nothing.
For He supplies all our needs according to God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philipians 4:19
A time or two, I have had discussions who state that they agree that the bible is complete stating that it was compiled by Man. My comment has been simply: “It is a book of His-story, like a text book, not all written at once or in one tongue, but compiled over eons.”
Comment? “But all those who put it together, how can one be certain that they were led by ‘whatever’ this thing that you call it! Was king James a Christian?

is my answer, it was compiled to put to sleep the inconsistencies in the other translations. My answer, he succeeded a Monarch that moved to establish a different mindset.
