Time for a quiz ðŸ¤”

Time for a quiz 🤔
Yes; we do this every now and then to keep us grounded in The Word.
We could ‘share’ so much and get used to being ‘fed’. Do you feed others?

Just asking!

Alright, this tidbit is in relation to a conversation between Jesus and someone. The question is: “who is it exactly?”
“Jesus saith to him ….., Simon, son of Jonas, Lovest thou me? he saith unto Him, Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I Love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep…”

A few key points are left out to make it challenging. A clue? Hmm🤔 who is the Vatican named after?

More questions (hints)
1. How many times was this asked?
2. Confounding clue: who is Jonas? who is his son?
3. What was instructed after this?
I have essentially given it away, but to awaken and be faced with this challenge, tells us where we need to be, no?

Father Lord, thank You for this day! Glory to You for Your Word. Allow it to be second nature in us. An essence, a gift to dwell on day and night. Yes, we are busy doing much. But, we ask You to teach us, move us to LIVE Your Word so that each moment is spent in Your Word, in Jesus’ name, Amen

I know some wonder why we approach God in Jesus’ name…

Jesus said to him, “I am The Way, and The Truth, and The Life; no one comes to The Father but through Me.
John 14:6

Makes you think 🤔, but we read further:

For through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
Ephesians 2:18

In Whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.
Ephesians 3:12

And this share is not complete until we point out:
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under Heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” And approach God.
Acts 4:12
