It is ‘Faith’ season! In meditating; we have focused on “Faith” this season! Shouldn’t we in ALL our ways?
Have Faith, Hope and Love, that is THE way to live successfully! How do I know? The Bible tells me so. Amen!
I will cease here and start digging! “Hey! Get on down here and dig with me!”
Number of times “Faith” appears in The Word?
So, now that we have pointed THAT out. Let us keep digging; deeper, deeper!
‘Faith’ here being defined as intuitive truth meaning as a gift from God, Hmm! A ‘gift’! You mean we were not born with it? Did we at least ‘earn’ it?
Uhhh! Faith is one of God’s uncreated energies (Grace too is another of God’s uncreated energies and gifts).
So, in fact is an essence that we have been gifted! Use it or lose it! (Tha’s wot I’m sayin’)
Faith here is beyond simply a belief in something. Faith here is an activity or operation of God working in and through mankind.
Hmm! So it IS a gift AND shows us a glimpse of what we do not see? Interesting!
“Uhmm, you missed a spot!”
Hold up! This IS deep!
“Here we go!” (BIG breath!)
“Now “Faith’ is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
Hebrews 11: 1.
Uhh! Are you crazy? Am I? EVIDENCE? Do you not have to SEE it to know it IS there?
I guess it IS asking something “outlandish!”
“Faith” is the connecting power into the spiritual realm, which links us with God and makes Him become a tangible reality to the sense perceptions of a person. Faith is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God.
Ahh, I get it now! A Force that is ‘suspected’/theorized actually becomes tangible?
Ok, ok “Breathe!”
I know you thought I forgot to ask you to breathe. Fast readers – good job!
So, do you want a relationship with The Creator?
“Faith” is a great place to start!
NO guidelines, no rules!
Yup! Take your time. You wouldn’t ‘rush’ into a relationship! Would you?
Taste and see that The LORD is good.
You a ‘foodie’? Got to try it FIRST and see if it sets right. No?
Mind you! I did not say ‘test’ and see that The LORD is good!
See what is said about “testing”?
I would write them out, you’ve gotta do something!
“For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’ “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.
Small tidbit! Satan – prior to his being cast out of Heaven was the chief of the choir of angel’s, was given authority we cannot imagine! When angel Michael contested Satan about the body of Moses:
“Jude verse 9 refers to an event which is found nowhere else in Scripture. Michael had to struggle or dispute with Satan about the body of Moses.”
At the end of the ‘struggle’ knowing his place, angel Gabriel said “The LORD rebuke thee.”
Some have supposed that the reference in Jude is the same as the passage in Zechariah 3:1-2, “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the LORD said to Satan, ‘The LORD rebuke you, O Satan!’” But the objections to this being the same incident are obvious: (1) The only similarity between the two passages is the expression, “the Lord rebuke you.” (2) The name “Michael” does not occur at all in the passage in Zechariah. (3) There is no mention made of the “body of Moses” in Zechariah, and no allusion to it whatever.
The POINT made here is that the angel’s know thier place. Only God Who created Satan can rebuke him!
Ok, ok…back to ‘Faith’ing’ it. You have been gifted/given; use it wisely.
