We are all the same
While in youth we had a song which we sang and played ‘tag’ to: “Rich man, poor man, beggar man, theif!”
For those who may be doubtful. Lessons?
1. We are all the same. Use your gifts! ALL are gifted. Ever seen a ‘restroom’ spic and span? Someone does that!
In living in a ‘third world’ country, there are so many things I could give as examples! Night-“watchmen”, you slept – they guarded!
In “Modern” cultures…Once upon a time, P.C.’s were near the top of the food chain. Now, ‘technicians’ come ‘a dime a dozen.’ We could go through this for days!
We were all born with and for a reason! As I am want to do, I will ask simply: “What is yours?”
No answers; thought! Dwell on it.
Pray on it and about it!
Are you living up to your potential?
A thousand ways this could go!
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10
The rich and poor meet together: The LORD is The Maker of them all. Use your God given talents. A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
A HUGE lesson! What an individual sows, that they will reap!
Reaping in someone’s garden, vineyard, plot has its ETERNAL effects! Be careful what you feed on!
