1. That The Scriptures Are The Final Authority Of God’s Word
Genesis 1:1-3, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. In the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, ‘let there be light,’ and there was light.”
Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.”
2. That Jesus Was Both God And Man
Jesus, The Son of God, is called the Word. Just as our own words explain our minds to others, God sent Jesus, the Word, to explain His mind to mankind.

Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be called wonderful Counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace.”
Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
3. The Belief In The Trinity
John 1:14, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
4. That Christ’s Death Was An Atonement For The Sin Of Mankind
