Feeling down?

He Who Created ALL things is your Father!

How can I explain this?🤔

God with His Word, spoke ‘life’ into being. Humans in NO way were the first to be Created! Know this! The Artist, painted with ever increasing passion!

🤔 “What would tie this all together?”

“I have Created ALL with The Word.”

God thought and ALL of God Created Man in God’s image. A ‘stand in’ here on Earth! Knowing the Seasons, God would Fellowship with Adam and Eve in the cool of the evening.

Wow! Your Father there when you go to sleep! Love DEFINED!

I take a moment to cast my mind to daily activities back when ‘time’ did not exist! Yes, there were days, evenings and nights, but in Essence, no time. No reason to “measure” time!

God performed an AWESOME work in Creating Man; in HIS image! NOTE, the ‘time’ and method of Creation was and is not stated! We are left in a conundrum! Need to know? No. For what? If it took a thousand years? So? A million?

God had the blueprint, Animals! That roamed the Earth… So God made the wild animals, the tame animals, and all the small crawling animals to produce more of their own kind. God saw that this was good. Genesis 1:25

There was/is a blueprint! Heaven. We have heard, read or imagined…it has been written in The Word.

Isaiah 11:6-9

The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lordas the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 65:25

The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.

Revelation 5:13

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

Luke 3:6

And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”

Revelation 19:11

Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

Isaiah 11:6

The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.

Proverbs 12:10

Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

Ecclesiastes 3:21

Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth?

1 Corinthians 2:9

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

Matthew 10:29

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.

Revelation 19:14

And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.

Romans 8:19-22

For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.

Genesis 1:24

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.

Acts 3:19-21

Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.

Genesis 1:25

And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:30

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Job 12:7-10

“But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

Psalm 145:21

My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

Revelation 21:5

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21

I said in my heart with regard to the children of man that God is testing them that they may see that they themselves are but beasts. For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return. Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth?

Psalm 24:1

A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord‘s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,

Genesis 9:9-10

“Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth.

We could go on… Feel free to browse:

We can break this down, note:

Heaven is unimaginable! There is NO end or beginning to space/room. The billions of believers that will be there! Glory!

You want to worship God in and with Thanksgiving because you are? A billion ‘years’ would not suffice!

Hard/difficult/unimaginable to fathom such! No time? Simply, there is NO reason to measure time!

What is the Tree of Life?

Remember this? “After the fall of man, “lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever”, cherubim are placed at the east end of the Garden to guard the way to the tree of life.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7.
In Revelation 22:1–2, the apostle John describes heaven to us: “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life. It was as clear as crystal. It flowed from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the middle of the city’s main street. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing 12 crops of fruit. Its fruit was ripe every month…”
The Bible doesn’t say whether we’ll eat the food that grows on this tree, but we might! Can you imagine how tasty that fruit will be?
We don’t really know whether we’ll get hungry or if we’ll eat in heaven. The Bible doesn’t say for sure. We do know that heaven will be wonderful and we will be happy whether or not we eat. Heaven is filled with joy and happiness, and no one there will be disappointed.

At this point, I will note that we do not read of angel’s ‘eating’ in Heaven. Yes! When here on Earth they at times did eat. Yet, they are not physical! They are spiritual beings. Many questions are raised about hunger in Heaven. It does not exist! Yes, there will be tables laden with the richest delicacies.
Many people wonder if we will eat food in heaven. If we have a new body, will it be necessary? Even if it is not necessary for life, will we eat because it is enjoyable? What does the Bible teach?
First, Jesus stated that He would one day eat again with His followers: “Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God” (Mark 14:25).
Second, the resurrected Jesus ate: “They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate before them” (Luke 24:42-43). Jesus also seems to have eaten in John 21:4-14. This does not mean all people will eat in heaven, but at least shows that Jesus ate after His resurrection.
Third, Revelation 22:2 mentions “the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month.” There will be food available, though this passage is not clear whether people will eat it.
Fourth, Revelation 7:16 implies eating and drinking will not be necessary in heaven since there will be no more hunger or thirst: “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore.”
Fifth, Matthew 8:11 discusses that many will come to eat at the future feast with the Lord: “I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.” Here, it appears eating together with the Lord will take place even though food will not be required to sustain life. Luke 14:15 adds Jesus saying, “Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!”
Sixth, Revelation 19:9 states, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” People eat at a marriage supper, so it would be reasonable to expect a celebration involving food with the Lord.
Two principles emerge from these and similar passages. First, food will no longer be essential to sustain life in heaven. However, it is seems that people will eat together with the Lord in heaven. This is not simply to sustain life, but rather to enjoy fellowship and to celebrate together forever. Ultimately, eating together will be an act of giving glory to God, something commanded even for when we eat now: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

We have chefs. Amazing, the joy they get from creating! Wines? Unimaginable richness with ‘time’; remember the wedding in Cana? The wine that the water poured into the jugs was described…
The transformation of water into wine at the Marriage at Cana or Wedding at Cana is the first miracle attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of John. In the Gospel account, Jesus, his mother and his disciples are invited to a wedding, and when the wine runs out, Jesus delivers a sign of his glory by turning water into wine.

No ‘aging’, yet Jesus thanked God and it was immediately, no ‘aging’ required!

And we take a ‘stroll’,

And we will note here in the US that
Studies have shown that a higher price tag does actually make the wine taste better (unless we’re talking about the world’s best wine, which costs just $10). But it has nothing to do with the grape quality. In reality, pricy bottles might not actually taste much different from cheaper wines.

So, time in essence does not matter!

In talking about this, I hope that it is noted just how passion comes from God!

What is Passion?

The word passion originates from the Latin word “passio” which is closely related to the Greek root “path” meaning “to suffer.” When this word is applied to the mind, it can relate to the mind being controlled by emotion which we will see in later verses. This is not just a weak emotion but a very powerful one. Passion can be good and bad, sinful and righteous and can certainly be overwhelming and override rationality. When Paul wrote that God gave them up to their (sinful) passions (Rom 1:26) the Greek word “pathos” was used and can mean several things; “an affliction of the mind, emotions,” and “a feeling which the mind suffers” so the word passion can swing in many different areas but almost always is extremely intense.

Christ’s Passion

Acts 1:3 “He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.”

The “He” in this sentence is Jesus Who presented Himself alive after His scourging (highly torturous) crucifixion, death, and resurrection. Jesus’ last week and consequent illegal trial, torture and crucifixion is known as the Passion Week. The word in this verse “suffering” is closely related to passion and is from the Greek “paschō” and means “to be affected,” or “to have been affected” and His suffering was unlike any man that has ever lived. In fact the word excruciating originated from the word crucifixion.

Sinful Passions

Romans 1:26-27 “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

When Paul wrote this, the word passion was from the Greek verb “pathos” and here in this context it apparently means “a feeling which the mind suffers” which is one of the primary meanings but there doesn’t seem to be any suffering here so a secondary use of this word “a passionate deed” seems to fit the context since the Greeks used pathos in either a good or in a bad sense but here Paul clearly means in a sinful sense.

Burning Passions

First Corinthians 7:9 “But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”

Some translations are incorrect and simply end the sentence with “For it is better to marry than to burn” which has led many to believe that they will burn in hell for sexual immorality but in this chapter it seems out of that context. He is basically saying that if someone can’t control their sexual drive, they are better off marrying than burning with passion and committing sexual immorality. That’s why Paul wrote to the Thessalonians “that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable” (1 Thess 4:4)

Crucifying the Passions

Galatians 5:24 “And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Paul shows that there is hope for the believer because if we belong to Christ, we “have crucified the flesh” along “with its passions and desires” but every Christian I know will tell you that it isn’t easy. It is a daily struggle that even the spiritual giant Paul wrestled with. He writes about this battle with the flesh in Romans chapter 7.

Suiting their own Passions

Second Timothy 4:3-4 ” For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”

This last letter of Paul is heartbreaking in a way because everyone but the Lord had abandoned him. He predicted that a time would come when people would no longer endure sound teaching and that time came very quickly and is thriving today. Why do they want to accumulate teachers to themselves? It is to suit their own passions. In other words, they want teachers who won’t call their sinful lifestyle what it is.sin and these teachers will compromise the truth of God’s Word and turning from the truth they will wander “off into myths” and away from sound, biblical teaching.

Spending it on their Passions

James 4:3 “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.”

James ties in the believers not having their prayers answered to the fact that they are praying for things that are not in God’s will, namely they are praying for things “to spend on [their] passions” and instead of praying for their needs, they are praying for their greed’s.
