1. Isaiah 26:3-4

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”

When it seems like everything is out of your control, God has it all in control. He is more than worthy of your trust, you only have to let him take your worries and accept the peace he offers.

2. John 16:33

3. Psalm 46:1

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of trouble.”

God is always with you, even on your midterms when you can’t even have a calculator. He may not give you the answer, but he will certainly be there for support every step of the way.

4. Psalm 18:32-36

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.”

5. Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

6. Deuteronomy 31:6

7. John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

When Jesus ascended back into heaven, he didn’t leave us to fend for ourselves. He left the Holy Spirit to live within us and guide and comfort us throughout our lives.

8. Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

9. Romans 15:13

10. Psalm 55:22

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

One of my favorite analogies is to image yourself laying all your burdens at the foot of the cross. Close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and with each breath out, imagine yourself letting go of those burdens.

11. Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

12. Matthew 6:34

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient is the day is its own trouble.”

Whatever your burdens may be, whether exams, family, work, etc., the Lord is happy to take your burdens. He is far stronger than we can ever be, lean upon Him and he will carry you through
