Psalm 123


Unto Thee LORD I lift up my eyes, O You that dwellest in Heaven.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look onto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon The LORD our God, until when God has mercy on us.

Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us.

Opposite:Ruthlessness,cruelty,inhumanity

for we are exceedingly filled with contempt (The feeling that a person or a thing is beneath consideration, worthless, or deserving scorn.) Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
