So if Jesus – The Lord sets you free, you will be free indeed, Amen.
The “law,” or “principle,” that reigns in the natural man is that of sin, which leads to death. A principal of life works in the believer, however, and this is the work of the Spirit. And the life that He gives sets us free from the dominion of sin and death, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

O Spirit of life, we mourn for the sin that still remains in us and that causes us to stumble at times. But we rejoice that we are the workmanship of God and that He will finish the work He has started. Set us free ever more from bondage to our own sinful desires, changing our hearts toward godliness, with Your Word. Amen.
