Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O Thou most High.
When I am afraid, I will trust in Thee, Father.
“I ask in faith and it is given to me; I seek and I find The cover of glory; I knock and the door is opened. For ask – receive; seek – find; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
We have been taught “fact” –
“Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,’ and he from within will answer and say, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give it to you’? I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.”— Luke 11:5-8
We go on!
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him.
In God I will praise His Word, in God I have put my entire trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. We can share torture, starvation, execution, minutes, hours, days of pain versus an eternity of glory!
Every day my foes wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my spirit, I haveno fear LORD, Your Spirit is within and withoutme, surrounding, engulfing and by Your beyond awesome grace drenching me till I pour forth with Your blessings, Amen.
As for my foes who scheme against me, shall they escape by iniquity? In thine anger cast down the people, O God, Amen.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put Thou my tears into Thy bottle: are they not in Thy book? When I cry unto Thee, then shall mine enemies turn back, Amen: this I know; for You – God are for me.
In God will I praise His word: in The LORD will I praise His word. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
