Our knowledge is limited. It is OPENED WIDE with faith…

Martha knew Christ’s power to keep alive and to heal even those on a death bed, but she did not yet know His power to give life to one already dead. Her faith was hard pressed by the death of her brother, but it was there and real. Jesus would strengthen her faith and grow it by a powerful display when he raised dead Lazarus by a simple command.

Our problems at times are much less; Yes! Many of us have experienced loss/grief/pain… There is a reason that it is in The Word…

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Malachi 3:6

“For I The Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Numbers 23:19

God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

Psalm 102:25-27

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end.

2 Timothy 2:13

If we are faithless, He remains faithful— for He cannot deny Himself.

Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is The everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the Earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable.

Psalm 119:89

Forever, O Lord, Your word is firmly fixed in the Heavens.

Psalm 33:11

The counsel of The Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the Earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

Psalm 119:90

Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

And we pray:

O God of resurrection power, You give life or take life as You please, for it is all in Your power and authority to do so. There is no situation too bleak for You to reverse it and turn it into a great display of Your power and glory. Strengthen my faith, Lord, and let me not doubt You, I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
