Mary was perhaps placed in one of the most unique positions in human history. Not only was she called upon by the Lord through the Angel Gabriel, not only was she the center of the most miraculous birth ever conceived. She was also (in sharp contrast to our conceptions of children today) both Jesus’s mother as well as her son’s servant and holy follower. Born from her flesh but raised above it, to become the Son of man, this experience runs counter to all of what we might think of as involved in motherhood. If Mary could do this, then we surely can find ways of incorporating the Lord and its word into our own lives, no matter how challenging, how counter-intuitive to our sensibilities. For as Mary, our responsibility is to the greater good of God.
We are chosen for a reason, quiet time! Seek The Will of God for and in your life. Mother Mary was born/Created for The reason… She was born and lived till the angel Gabriel spoke to her and she stated “I am The Lord’s servant. Let everything you’ve said happen to me.” Luke 1:26-38
Religions worldwide agree as to the Motherhood of Jesus. It is prayed “Mother of The Word of God.”
It is a thing to be mindful of – respect and know – Blessed is she among women and blessed is the fruit of her womb, Amen.
