We should always turn to God when we are need of understanding the direction our lives are to take. If we try to take counsel in human understanding, we will end up making a number of careless mistakes. Only God can truly order our steps; because as we walk in the path God set for us, we avoid iniquity and any traps the enemy may have tried to set. Dear God, I pray that I always pay attention to the direction in which You are taking my life. Lord, I pray that I never find fulfillment in human counsel, but in Your Word alone – because in Your Word there is wisdom and there is life. I pray that I will always follow in the steps that You have ordered for my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
