When the peace of Christ rules in our hearts, thankfulness overflows. Even in the darkest of times, we can praise God for His Love, His sovereignty, and His promise to be near us when we call (pray) Psalm 145:18.

Thank you, Lord, for your peace that transcends understanding and your Love that endures ALL ways, Amen.

God desires that we rejoice always and be thankful in every situation. This may sound like it’s “easier said than done” but when you are in Christ, it is very possible. By praying continually – which is something else God desires that we do – we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and His goodness. This is how we are able to rejoice and give thanks in every situation; it’s because we know that is always with us.

And we pray:

Dear God, I thank You that in every situation I am able to rejoice because of Your faithfulness and Your unfailing goodness. Lord, even in the toughest situations, I have joy because there is nothing greater in this Universe than You and Your Love. Thank You for always – in ALL ways being with me, I by Your grave am covered in The blood that was shed for me. Lord, be magnified in, through and by me I pray in Your name, I pray, Amen.
