How is time measured? Since 1967, the International System of Measurements bases its unit of time, the second, on the properties of caesium atoms. SI defines the second as 9,192,631,770 cycles of the radiation that corresponds to the transition between two electron spin energy levels of the ground state of the 133Cs atom.
Before this? There was time! A little more profound is measurement of time before the big bang?
The Big Bang is commonly thought of as the start of it all: About 13.8 billion years ago, the observable universe went boom and expanded into being.
But what were things like before the Big Bang?
Short answer: We don’t know. Long answer: It could have been a lot of things, each mind-bending in its own way.
What happened before the Big Bang? This gives us so much to contemplate. What was? Definitely not the “seen”. Treading and trodding throw The Word… The Word Spoke and it was! ALL that existed prior was and is unseen. The seen is from the unseen.
Physical Science attempts to explain these concepts.
What was before ‘the seen’, will exist even if/when the seen ceases to be.
