The big question: do or don’t

It is understandable why a lot of African Americans feel the way they do. The Tuskegee experiment is a key issue. We currently have the Covid virus worldwide reeking havoc. Understandably, medically speaking something needs to be done.

I put this together secondary to a discussion on a related historical perspective: The Tuskegee ‘experiment’. A racially slanted ‘study’ or lack thereof even after treatment was available for the treatment of syphilis. Penicillin to be clear.

There are many sides to this story. We cannot hold minorities responsible for their lack of trust in the system that has a history of sidelining minority rights.

1. Are we ‘citizens’/equals (I almost laugh uncontollably at this assertion!) What exactly does the term ‘minority’ mean?

Minority: Minority —individuals who are of a race or ethnicity other than white (Caucasian).

So, how did ‘others’ adopt the term ‘non minority’?

Robert Smith: $5 billion.
David Steward: $3.5 billion.
Oprah Winfrey: $2.7 billion.
Michael Jordan: $1.9 billion.
Jay-Z: $1 billion.

Where is Tyler Perry? I said “A short walk.” And why are we grouped separately?

Why do we not look at achievements as individual; not race! We are stuck in a quagmire.

Why does it truly matter? Are brains aware of color/race? This was meant to be a short walk aside!

If we truly look at His-story. If we think back to the great flood in the days of Noah, there were different ‘families’ on the ark which explain the differences we experience today in terms of ‘race’. More importantly, we have read/heard or studied the attempt to build a tower into the heavens as one large extended ‘family’.
