To those newly admitted to our faith, we should give extra attention and care to. Like a new hatchling, they require nurturing, instruction and help. We do this not only because it is our duty, but because we would hope the same welcoming hand would be extended to us if it were the other way around. Soon, they will be able to fly by themselves. And who knows, maybe they would end up soaring to the highest of heights? What better way to please God than to have had a hand in having helped another reach the Promised Land?
And we pray:
My Lord, grant me the guidance and patience You have shown me to those who are only now hearing Your name and wish to know Your truth. Grant me patience and care, so that I may help serve You by serving them. For my wish is only to please You my Lord, and do your work by helping bring Your children into the light, Amen.
