Not an easy road! But blessed. Peace, joy, fulfillment, a forever!
We have sacrifices that we need to make to, as we choose to follow Christ. There are many worldly activities we have to give up, as they are not in line with what God has ordained us to do. Sometimes we have to leave certain friendships or relationships because they end up trying to pull us away from Christ. The joy in these sacrifices is that God always acknowledges them and they won’t go unrewarded.
And we pray:
Dear God, I acknowledge that there are things in my life that I may have to let go of as a result of my choosing to follow Your way. Lord, I ask that You give me the strength I need to be able to let go, and may You comfort me at any time I feel pain. I thank You, Lord, that there is a greater glory ahead, that makes these sacrifices worthwhile. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
