Happy Mother’s Day

Shamefecedly, I see that my Mother wrote “Happy Mother’s Day.” Here on FB. I wondered why. Did I miss something? After doing my ‘research it is celebrated in different cultures on separate days! We should truly celebrate it each and every day! 9 months? Shorter in ‘preemies’, but the same care is taken in and with each one!

I am sure (being a Male) each and every one has its importance!

Happy Mothers day my UK and Nigerian Mothers! And very soon to come world over. Easter time gives renewed reason and importance of the Mother. No YOU, no us – Amen.

Mother’s Day gives people around the world the opportunity to shower the women who’ve loved and cared for them with gifts and appreciation. But between the homemade Mother’s Day gifts and flowers, it’s still important to share a special message with your mother. The right message tells your mother how much you appreciate her and honors the sacrifices she’s made for you.

The Bible consistently asks followers to honor and love their mothers. Examples of this can be seen in Exodus 20:12, “Honor your father and your mother,” and Leviticus 19:3, “Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father.”

While Mother’s Day is a relative new holiday in modern history, versions of similar holidays have existed through the centuries.
