Trusting God in Bible Verses
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the Earth!”
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of The Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
And we know that for those who love God ALL things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in The Lord.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
Encouragement to Trust God from Scripture
Delight yourself in The Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to The Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says The LORD.”
Commit your way to The Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
