God had rescued the Israelites out of Egypt with mighty miracles that their eyes had seen. They should have known His power and His Love for His people. But it is easy for men to forget what they have seen and learned of God when they are not focused on Him. Taste and see that The LORD is good.
Romans 12:2 – Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Proverbs 16:3 – Commit your work to The Lord, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 23:17 – Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of The Lord all the day.
Isaiah 26:3 – You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
Psalm 119:2 – Blessed are those who keep The LORD’s testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart.
1 Corinthians 10:31 – so whether you ear or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the Glory of God.
