Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from The Lord Jesus Christ. Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:2,6,11
The phrase, “fruit (or harvest) of righteousness” (Prov 11:30; Amos 6:12; Isiah 32:17; Hebrews 12:11; James 3:18) refers to the righteousness of God implanted in us, “through Jesus Christ” causing acts of practical righteousness to flow out of us. No man is able to produce fruit by his own unaided efforts.
