The body is not made up of one organ, but many working together to sustain life.

All believers do not have the exact same spiritual gift(s) from God. None of us have arrived at perfection, and God uses each of us in different ways to help each other grow in grace. We should not despise any member of Christ’s body based on their having a different gift that what we have been blessed with. We need to come together in Jesus’ name. ONE family!

And we pray:
Help me to appreciate and benefit from the gifts You have given to others, Lord. May I not think my gift is more important then everyone else’s but give thanks to You for the great diversity of gifts You have so graciously bestowed!
I love how in scripture the Word compares the church to the body. We each do something different yet we need all of us to be complete.
Everything is spoken about in The Word. It is the world’s first book on history and life, a guide book with rules on living…how, why and what we need to do.
Yes! It’s totally “life’s rule book.”
Amen.
