It is wise to trust and follow the Lord. Not only can we avoid destruction, but we are promised a long and healthy life. Sin brings consequences–the most obvious being death. But obedience to God’s commandments brings life and peace.
And we pray:
LORD, remind me on the days that I forget that obedience plays a huge role in my life. Help me to remember to obey Your commandments so that my days will be long on this Earth and that I may know peace while I’m here. Amen.
