Made to be Loved by Love and grow in Love, Amen.

Not of our own power, rather led by The Spirit of God to lay our all at The Feet of God.

Amazing The Word of God has been placed above all. The Presence of God is unimaginable.

Light? I laugh! The absolute lack of darkness. Mind you! God changes not! Amen.

God loves saints and sinners alike. On any given day, we are both. As fallible humans, we can never earn God’s love through adherence to any moral code. By our very nature, we are imperfect and prone to making mistakes. But God is absolute mercy, always seeking to draw us to himself. Often it is through our times of failure that he is best able to effect union with us. Those places where our ego cracks are a way for him to enter our lives once we reject our selfish loves and turn to him.

God condemns no one. It’s our own withdrawal that makes us feel judged. Just as we can hide ourselves in a cave to escape the sun’s rays, we can emotionally block the perception of God’s Love flowing into our lives. But our choosing the dark doesn’t mean that the sun’s not shining. And shutting our hearts to divine presence is our issue, not God’s. We sometimes feel that God’s punishing us when we sin, but it’s actually the sin itself that causes us to suffer. When we decide to reject a behavior because it’s harmful to ourselves and to others, and choose instead a life of compassion, we see that God has been there all along

10 Ways God Intimately Knows You

1.) God knows your habits.

O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
(Psalm 139:1-2)

God understands your life.  He is totally familiar with your habits.  He knows when you sit down and when you stand up.

2.) God knows your thoughts.

You discern my thoughts from afar.
(Psalm 139:2)

Even if you don’t say a word, God knows what you are thinking.  He knows your good thoughts and the bad ones. He knows your personality, emotions, strengths and weaknesses.  Nothing is hidden from God.

3.) God knows your location.

You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
(Psalm 139:3)

God is like a GPS – he knows your location.  He knows when you are gone from home and driving somewhere and he knows when you are home and asleep.  He is acquainted with all of your ways.

4.) God knows your words.

Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
(Psalm 139:4)

God knows what you are going to say before you even say it.  He knows the intent of your heart.  Consider, if God walked into the room today, would you change the way you talk?  God is always in the room with you.

5.) God knows your past, present and future.

You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
(Psalm 139:5)

God goes behind you.  He knows your past. God goes before you. He knows your future. And his hand is upon you now. He is with you in the present.  God is always with us guarding us and protecting us.  We can rest easy at night knowing that our future is in God’s hands.

PAUSE and stand in AWE of your God.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.

Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
(Psalm 139:6-10)

Let’s pause midway and just ponder the awesomeness of our God that we see in Psalm 139.

Our God is omniscient.

He knows all.

Our God is omnipresent.

He is in all places at once.

But he doesn’t just know everything –

He knows you.

And he isn’t just everywhere –

He is with you.

Our God is an AWE-some God!

6.) God sees you in the darkness.

11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
(Psalm 139:11 & 12)

When we fall into the darkness of sin, it can feel like God is distant.  But there are no secrets with God.  You can’t hide from God.  The night is as day to him because he sees all.

7.) God knows your DNA.

13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
(Psalm 139:13-15)

God is self-existent and he is not just the creator of the world – he created you!  He created you in your mother’s womb and you are amazing.  Your body is unique, complex and intricate and it points to an intelligent designer who loves you.

8.) God knows the number of your days.

16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
(Psalm 139:16)

In the NIV these verses read like this: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

God is all knowing.  He knows how and when you will die before you were even born.  100% of us will die and we will all stand face to face with the all knowing God.  We will give an account for how we lived – therefore, we should live each day for him, until we see him face to face.

9.) God is always thinking of you.

1How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.
(Psalm 139:17-18)

God’s thoughts of you are immeasurable.  They are precious.  They are vast and they are more numerous than the grains of sand.  Have you ever tried to count grains of sand?  It’s not possible.  You are valuable to God.

10.) God knows that you are a sinner.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

While we were sinners – Christ died for us.

I am amazed by the fact that I was on God’s Mind before I was born!

You were on God’s mind before you were born and Jesus loved you so much, he died on the cross for your sins, so that you could have a relationship with him.  If you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Savior – what are you waiting for?  You are so loved!  Just pray and confess your sins and place your faith in Jesus today.

If you are born again – take comfort in knowing that God is with you always, knows you intimately and Loves you deeply.

Keep walking with the King,
