Think about the relationship that you have with The Lord: does He truly come first in your life? In my life/congregation, many people come for Christmas and Easter service and nothing else. They are more afraid to be punished for not believing (twice a year ‘show up’ says absolutely nothing about who/what you truly are.) By the way, it is not church/fellowship attendance that qualifies anyone!) Rather, truly desire a relationship with The Lord – things will change then. A true relationship with God starts from the heart and a need/want/desire for meaning and direction in life. And after life; where, when, how will that be for you? It is your decision. Brothers and sisters! God did not teach you to fear Him! He taught you to Love Him as He Loves you.
And we pray:
Blessed Father, You have taught me the importance of developing a relationship with You. You have shown me the proper path to developing this relationship, and what You ask is simple: that I Love You with all of my heart and strength. Forgive me Father! I know that I can do better, and with this prayer I vow that I shall do better. I pray this in Your name, Jesus’ name, and The Holy Spirit, Amen.
