Best believe that…

Who Jesus is He was and will forever be.

Jesus is now and forever. He has no reason to change because He was God in the flesh. He cannot change. However, we are living in a world that is constantly changing, and as it continues to change and eventually passes away, Jesus will never change.

God is unchanging (Malachi 3:6), but we, as humans, do change. We grow in the good things and grow in the not so good things. When sin hit this world, the world became our immediate influence instead of God. Jesus was born and grew up just like us — as he strived to please His Father, so should we strive to be like Jesus and His character.

Overall, what really matters is knowing that even though we are changing, Jesus never has nor will he ever change, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” Hebrews 13:8

The Word of God Will Never Fade nor Change

In Isaiah 40:8, the Bible states, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” So, if the Word that Jesus Christ spoke of in the Bible does not wither away, then we know that Jesus does not change.

There is more of an explanation of how Jesus, the Word, became flesh. In John 1:1-5, the Bible states,

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The Word of God is so important to have to understand God. Jesus was an infant and then became a man. But His character, and who He was and is, will never change.
