There is nothing that is of the devil that we should consider as an object of our desire. The things of the world, which are ultimately of the enemy, are an abomination in the Lord’s eyes – this is because they are contrary to the ways of God. Stay away from evil influences and remain rooted in the word of God, it will save you from much trouble and even death. God has called us to live a much higher life.
And we pray:
Dear God, I pray that my eyes will always remain focused on anything that concerns you. I am aware of the evil in this world and no part of me desires to be a part of such. Help me to remain in Your ways, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
