Christ’s death did more than just save us from our sins. It also gave us the option to choose what to do with our lives. Do we choose to follow His path or do we choose to follow our own? Considering the rewards on either side, I think the choice is simple, but this free spirit is what makes humans plight so interesting.
And we take a moment to pray:
Lord Jesus, redeemer of my sins, I am humbly Your servant for all of my days. I repent for my sins, and apologize for humans behavior to You. I wish that I can know You better, and it is nobody’s fault but my own that I do not. Redouble my efforts, Lord Jesus, for You are all that I want to know. I shall follow directly in Your footsteps, and aim to join You and Your Father in Heaven someday soon. In Your name I pray, Amen.
