We are asked by God to have a giving spirit. When we give freely, we do not lose anything, for the things of this earth will fade, but the goodness of generosity is stored up in the Kingdom of Heaven.
And we pray:
Father, remind me daily that what I have is not mine, but it has always been Yours. I ask that You would take what I have and put it to good use, for I trust in Your plans, always. I pray that if anyone in need, they will come to me and I will have the strength to help them. I pray that Your hand will guide my gifts to serve Your good works. Amen.
