NB

IF you could see the future…what would you do?

Yes, Jesus came to this Earth for the express purpose of shedding His precious blood on the cross to provide forgiveness of sins (Romans 5:8-9; Hebrews 5:8-9). Jesus did not come the first time to set up an Earthly kingdom. … The nature of the Kingdom of Christ is not Earthly but spiritual and eternal.

God used dreams in the Bible many times to communicate His will, reveal His plans, and to announce future events. … Both Jeremiah and Zechariah warned against relying on dreams to express the revelation of God (Jeremiah 23:28).

Jesus was schooled by The Spirit whilst He grew up. At age 12, He remained in the temple whilst His family left. In returning and searching for Him; Mary His Mother said “Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” Then Jesus answered in a surprising way: “Why were you searching for Me? … Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” … Now Jesus was claiming that identity for Himself! But being The Son of The Father meant being sent on the Father’s mission.

The Lord still uses our dreams to speak truth into our lives. … If you have a dream that you think is from God, your first step should be to pray for understanding. Only after you have prayed for wisdom and understanding should you attempt to interpret the dream. Let God give you the understanding He wants you to have.

Jesus had a continued close relationship with God. Christ Jesus was baptized and filled with The Holy Spirit at the Jordan River. Then, the apostle said, The Savior was led by The Holy Spirit “into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Jesus fasted forty days and nights in the wilderness.

Jesus Knew His purpose and reason, what is yours? Pray it up.

In one sense, you are always living in God’s purpose. … Nothing can happen without God ordaining it. Psalm 57:2 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” This is key in understanding God’s purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” – Hebrews 13:20-21

Lord,

I surrender my life to you. I want to do something, to make something happen, all on my own strength, but I know without you I can do nothing. I know my life is not my own, it is yours to work through me. Lord, I am grateful for this life you’ve given me. You’ve blessed me with different gifts and talents. Help me understand how to cultivate those things to bring glory to your great name.

Amen.
