How do we ENSURE a blessed new year celebration?

ALL is known by The Creator. Every action, thought, event has been seen before it occurred. Did You Know Your Life Story Has Been Written by God? Our stories are written; WE make the changes.

We are alive here on Earth at this specific time for a reason. If we look back at His-story; Man has been through so very much:

We could go on! In Psalm 139:13-16, David the psalmist sang eloquently about the Loving writer of our script:

For You Created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from You
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the Earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Did you catch those last two lines? All the days ordained for you were written in His book (I like to call it His “script” for our lives) before one of them came to be. God has seen all our days in front of Him before we’ve lived out any of them. That means nothing takes God by surprise. Nothing is unexpected to Him, and nothing affects you and me that is outside of His Loving plan for us. The writer, designer, and director of our life’s script knows exactly what He’s doing—even when we think something is spiraling out of control.

What touches my heart is this in the Word: “In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” What happened next? It is in there for a reason! Hezekiah recovered and lived 15 more years.. http://web.mit.edu/jywang/www/cef/Bible/NIV/NIV_Bible/2KGS+20.html

When we live for God; God will be glorified in and through us.

So, I am keenly aware that there is change in the world. It was known, as I stated we are here at this time for a reason! In the early 1900’s air travel came to be: On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. The Wright brothers had invented the first successful airplane.

Prior to that travel was by land or on water. On 21 February 1804, the world’s first steam-powered railway journey took place when Trevithick’s unnamed steam locomotive hauled a train along the tramway of the Penydarren ironworks, near Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales.

Do we see what fact is? A century between the ‘invention’ of train and air travel. We could go on… but we would get lost in history.

We are here at this period/time in His-story for a reason!

I must give glory to him as the Creator of the world and the great Protector, Benefactor, and Ruler of the whole creation.

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive blessing and honor and glory and power, for you have created all things, and for your praise and by your will they existed and were created. Revelation 4:11(ESV)

We worship God Who made Heaven and Earth, the sea and the springs of water; Revelation 14:7(ESV) Who spoke, and it came to be; who commanded, and it stood firm; Psalm 33:9(ESV) Who said, “Let there be light,” and there was light; Genesis 1:3(ESV) “Let there be an expanse,” and He made the expanse; Genesis 1:6-7(ESV) and He made it all very good; Genesis 1:31(ESV) and they continue this day by His appointment, for all things are His servants. Psalm 119:91(ESV)

Yours is the day, Yours also the night; You have established the Heavenly lights and the Sun. You have fixed all the boundaries of the Earth; you have made summer and winter. Psalm 74:16-17(ESV)

You uphold the Universe by The Word of Your powerHebrews 1:3(ESV) and in You all things hold together. Colossians 1:17(ESV)

The Earth is full of Your creatures, as is the great and wide sea. Psalm 104:24-25(ESV) The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due season: You open Your hand; You satisfy the desire of every living thing. Psalm 145:15-16(ESV) Man and beast You save, O LORD, Psalm 36:6(ESV) and give food to all flesh. Psalm 136:25(ESV)

You are The LORD, You alone. You have made Heaven, the Heaven of heavens, with all their host, the Earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of Heaven worships You, Nehemiah 9:6(ESV) whose Kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19(ESV)

A sparrow will not fall to the ground apart from You. Matthew 10:29(ESV)

You made Man at first of dust from the ground and breathed into him the breath of life, and so he became a living creature. Genesis 2:7(ESV)

And You have made from one Man every nation of Mankind to live on all the face of the Earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place. Acts 17:26(ESV)

So, yes! There is change. Should we? Do we change?

“Great is Your faithfulness, You never change, True are Your promises, You never change”. Praise God we can trust His Love for us, His forgiveness of our sins, His peace and comfort, because all of His promises are true and God never changes.

A Prayer of Praise because God Never Changes

I thank You Father that I can trust You and Your Word because You never change. You are not like Man who change their minds. Your promises are true and good.

Even if all the world fades away Your Word will stand forever. You Lord do not faint or grown weary. You are the same God Who Created the world and spoke it into existence. You are the God Abraham and Jacob.

You are the first and the last and there is no other God besides You.

You are my rock, my fortress and shelter, my strong and mighty tower.

You hold me in your hand and hide me beneath the shadow of your wings.

You knew me before I was born and you have a plan for my life. I know I can trust you no matter what my circumstances because you are good and You never change.

You are the great I AM and Your Love never fails. Amen
