There were the heavens and all God – The Beginning of ALL spoke into existence. So often, I am brought to a realization of how insignificant I am! Not just on Earth, but in the Universe! Humility fills my heart – let us look at numbers – Earths population 7.753 billion individuals like me in 2020.
Well, in stating “like me”, I am speaking human. If I were to speak of my belief, where I direct my hope/wants/ needs and definitely thanksgiving for all I am blessed with; a follower of Jesus I am, Amen. Number? 2.382 billion Christians, a drop in a pool of water! At a million cubic millimeters to the liter, that’s 250,000 drops per liter, or about 1 million drops per gallon. This means that a common 3-gallon bucket holds about 3 million drops. So a “drop in a bucket” is 1/3,000,000, or about 0.00003 percent.
Reality is that I am essentially insignificant! But, God sees ALL!
We have The Word – In essence, The Word made flesh is The Essence of Jesus. We could delve into The Word, and we have, in this case I simply wish to point out definites. stating how very much a privilege we have been blessed with.
Mind you! We shall give account of every word we utter in this existence. Life is such a miniscule portion of existence! We tend to be impressed by centenarians; yet what is time?
To simplify this; we are in the Solar system and the Earth orbits the Sun – a star! in this ‘system’!! Our solar system is just one specific planetary system—a star with planets orbiting around it. Our planetary system is the only one officially called “solar system,” but astronomers have discovered more than 3,200 other stars with planets orbiting them in our galaxy. That’s just how many we’ve found so far.
Even stating this leaves me know how insignificant I am in the cosmos. These are the first words in the Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth” (Genesis 1:1). Everything that exists has been created by God. This means the full expanse of the Universe was Created by God.

The Essence of God is where everything began! The body we have is physical! There are other planes – the supernatural.
This says so very much! It does not state that we can or should depend on our abilities. We need to place our every want/need/desires before The Throne of grace.

Certain truths are concrete, finite, and tangible. Mysteries are not. The very essence of a mystery makes it hard to grasp. You can’t put a mystery in a box or accurately predict its nature. Why? Because mysteries contain elements that are not yet clearly perceived.
God’s ways are inscrutable, not because He’s trying to hide something from us, but because our limited human understanding lacks the capacity to grasp the full scope of His sovereignty.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares The LORD. As the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:8-9
“God’s ways are not only higher than ours, but they are also better than ours. The big struggle we have is whether or not we will embrace them. There is a blessing and a hope that comes from embracing God’s ways. The good news is that the blessing comes even when you don’t understand what God is doing,”
