You are known by The Creator!
Nothing will get to you of which God is unaware; God’s plan for protecting His people cannot be thwarted (Psalm 121:5–7). The last line, climactically, says what all the children of God need to know: “The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore. “ (Psalm 121:8)
Jude reminds of the GREAT Power of God. So many times, we as Christian worry about how we are going to remain steadfast. We worry that we will “mess up” and that we won’t be able to measure up in this Christian walk. In this passage, Jude helps us to remember that God has taken it upon Himself to keep us from stumbling. God, in all His majesty and glory, has deigned to keep our pitiful selves out of trouble. Like a father who runs tirelessly behind his child, riding a bike for the first time without training wheels, God moves tirelessly by our side, reaching out to steady us when we threaten to fall, keeping us from tumbling head over heels, and cheering us on when we don’t wobble.
Think on this (and act on it too.) Joy comes when we trust The Lord. Placing our trust in God brings joy. We have a God Who Loves us more than we can imagine, a God Who is more POWER filled than we can comprehend, and Who has promised to help us if we put our trust in Him, Amen.
And we pray:
Lord, Thank You for Your diligence in keeping me from falling. You, in all Your glory, The King of kings and The Lord of lords, Loves me enough to steady me when I need it. You are great and You are mighty. I thank You with my whole heart. Lead me, guide me, use me LORD, Amen.
