I’ve heard it said that God answers prayers in one of three ways. God says “Yes,” and you receive what you ask for. God says “No,” and you have to accept it and move on. Or God says “Not Yet,” and you learn to be patient and wait.
When we pray, God intervenes and changes things. But God usually doesn’t do it in accordance to how we pray or what we pray for. We either pray for God to change others, or to change the circumstances or situations we find ourselves in.
It might sound simple, but we need to ask God for the blessings we need. Jesus taught, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find” (Matthew 7:7). When you are sincerely striving to obey God’s commandments, He will give you answers to your prayers, and you will be ready to receive them.
Psalm 3:3 “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; MY GLORY, AND THE LIFTER UP OF MINE HEAD.” Today, there is tremendous space for you in the high places of life. Cry to Him, “LORD LIFT ME” and He will answer you speedily.
