Waiting? I am just asking.

Waiting for a sign?

The Sun ‘rose’ today, Hallelujah.

You have breath, a heartbeat – hope.

You woke up (see? I am not ignorant to say “This morning.”) You are unique and God has a plan for you, but know this: “your days are limited.” Your life, actions, and words have power and purpose. You represent Christ to the world; and The Love and mercy of God to each other.

In the scriptures, the word “wait” means to hope, to anticipate, and to trust. To hope and trust in The Lord requires faith, patience, humility, meekness, long-suffering, keeping the commandments, and enduring to the end. To wait upon The Lord means planting the seed of faith and nourishing it with The Word of God.

And we pray:

Fill my heart with gospel joy. Strengthen me by Your Word. May the words of the Psalmist be true of me, “I wait for The LORD, my soul waits, and in His Word I hope” (Psalm 130:5). Help me to remain faithful in this place of waiting LORD, Amen.
