As we are to live; covered with/by grace, Amen.

We aren’t meant to live a life of excess. While it is good to have wealth and material possessions, we should rather commit these things to helping those who are in need instead of accumulating things we know we won’t use. Giving is part of being a Christian and it is always best to give to those who are in need. Your life will serve as an example to others on how to live in moderation.

And we pray:

God of all comfort, we come into Your presence in the knowledge of the truth that You are near us, that You Love us and care for us, that we can cast all our burdens, worries, anxieties, fears upon You, and that You in turn will cast Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon us.

We thank You that despite the chains of Covid 19 and the uncertain future all of us are facing, Your Loving hand remains upon this world and upon our lives, and in faith we believe You will break the chains that bind us, and we will be able to once again live in the freedom and the peace only You give.

We lift up before You all those who have been infected, and we also lift up their families, and the Doctors, Consultants and Nurses who are caring for them. May Your hand of healing be upon all those being cared for, and may Your hand of protection be upon all those who are providing their care.

Finally, we pray that in these days, You will use us to share the Good News of Your Son – Jesus Christ, The Light of the World, to a world that is engulfed in darkness, and may the light of His presence, Love, hope, mercy, grace, power, and truth shine in the darkness and set free all those trapped by the darkness.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, The King of kings and Lord of lord’s we ask these things. Amen
