I have been asked on many occasions: “Did you pray yet?”
Hard to answer that! Did I ever stop praying?
Both Paul and Alma closely linked the idea of praying unceasingly with expression of gratitude to The Lord. “Pray without ceasing,” Paul said; “in everything give thanks: for this is The will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not Tthe Spirit.” 1 Thes. 5:17–19.
This says so much! And ties so much together. Right quick:
The story of our life has already been written. I am asked often about this. Very simply, if there is a fork in the road, you will take a path (one of them) your story for each path you take is written. We have decisions to make always! The results is known! Look back at life and where you are now. Decisions that you (or someone else made for you) brought you to exactly where you are at this second. An overwhelming realization! The resultant story is based on your decision! Deep.
This is why you are where you are. Right quick – first sin ever – disobedience to The law of God – Thou shalt not eat of the fruit of that tree. It happened! And we paid the price till The Word of God came to reset the order of things!
And we pray:
LORD Heavenly Father, may Your Spirit lead me, guide me, refresh me, renew me each and every morning, Amen. I am filled with a longing to be in Your Presence for always, Amen
