Confidence is a precious commodity. Some people have way too much of. Others spend their lives trying to obtain it. The good news is that, when we accept Christ, we get confidence as a bonus. He becomes our confidence. We don’t have to fear sudden changes in our lives, when wickedness comes in an unexpected way. Because Christ is our confidence, we won’t get caught up in the fear and anxiety of the things we cannot control.
And we pray:
Lord, thank You for being my confidence. You give me the ability to overcome the unexpected obstacles that come my way. Let me not be caught up in these “sudden fears” while I learn to find my confidence in You. Amen.
