You ever dream?

Are you spoken to in the spirit? I should ask… Are you a believer? For many are called, few are chosen…

Isaiah was best known as the Hebrew prophet who predicted the coming of Jesus Christ to salvage Mankind from sin. Isaiah lived about 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.

700 years before the birth of Christ, Isaiah prophesied about Jesus.

We touch on dreams

https://www.openbible.info/topics/dreams

All in all there are about a dozen dreams in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament (of the dreams in the New Testament, five, in Matthew, pertain to divine guidance of the Holy Family; in Acts 2:17, Peter quotes Joel 3:1, and in Matt. 27:19, Pilate’s wife shares with her husband a frightening dream and tells him to spare Jesus). However, what exactly constitutes a dream may be hard to tell. The distinction between dream and vision is not always apparent.

Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond Man’s scrutiny]. For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a Man’s thoughts except the Man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except The Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God. And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by The [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit]. But the natural, nonspiritual Man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of The Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to them; and they are incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated. But the spiritual Man tries all things [they examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet are themselves to be put on trial and judged by no one [the spiritual minded can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into them]. For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of The Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But, Alleluia! We have the mind of Christ (The Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. [Isa. 40:13.]

Besides Jacob’s well-known dream of the ladder, we find the main elaboration on dreams in the book of Daniel, with Nebuchadnezzar’s two dreams, and particularly in Genesis, with Joseph’s dreams and interpretations.

The attitude towards dreams in the Bible is ambiguous. While Daniel and Joseph are celebrated dream interpreters, in other instances warnings are voiced against the deceit and falsehood of dreams. In Jeremiah, God ridicules and warns, “I have heard what the prophets said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have…”

Amen!

Father LORD, renew my spirit each day that I may grow in knowledge and Love and dependence on You. Grant me an insatiable appetite for Your Love, guidance and wisdom. Father, constantly renew me in my thoughts, ways and spirit each day and moment I am in Your Presence, Amen.

Father above, I’m here to ask some things from You. I ask for patience to wait for Your insights into problems and situations that’ll arise around me. Lord, never allow me to commit to impatience and face the consequences of not applying deep wisdom. I thank You my God, and In Jesus Name I pray.
