God has always kept his promises to us, to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9). He always hears when we ask anything to him (1 John 5: 14-15). Our God is just and fair. He will forgive you if you ask, he will listen when you pray. Whether you do those things is entirely up to you.
And we pray:
Lord, how can I ever repay my life debt to You? With this prayer, I pledge to honor a pact with You: I know that You will hear me and I will constantly pray; I know that You will keep Your promises to me so I will keep my promises to You; I know that You Love me so I will Love You with all of my heart and strength. The rest I trust You and Your gracious power. Amen.
