It isn’t enough to just to receive the truth of God. We must continue to walk in it. We must love it, hold on to it, retain it, and walk in it to truly be called disciples of Christ. When we know the truth of God, when we live it, breathe it, speak it, when we have cleansed our heart from the love of sin, only then are we truly free. It is sin that keeps us in bondage, and only when we have allowed the truth to drive out the sin, can we be free. The truth has literally set us free.
And we pray:
Lord, You have set me free because You have revealed to me Your truth. I believe it and I accept it. I retain it, live it, love it and walk in it daily. Thank You for driving sin from my heart and setting me free. Amen.
