People are imperfect. But God’s church is made of people, and He has exalted his church. He loves these imperfect people deeply, and He wants the best for them. This is our hope, and what we are thankful for. God has promised salvation to His church, and we can be certain that He will deliver it.
And we pray:
Lord, I praise You! You have Loved Your church and delivered us from evil. You will bring us to salvation, of that I am sure. May our hearts remain clean as we wait for the return of Christ, and may we be filled with faith that moves us to serve You. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
