Jesus confirmed this and said: “A good tree brings forth good fruit and a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.” Keeping the Presence of The Holy Spirit close to you by asking God for forgiveness when we do something that grieves Him. 1 John 1:9.
That is one way we grow to maturity (perfection) by being sensitive to His voice and convicting work in our lives. That is why it is so important to read and study God’s Word so we know what He expects of us as His children and to train our conscience. This gives The Holy Spirit free reign in our lives to please God more and more through us convicting, cleansing, purifying from the world and its ways. Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:11-14 that we are called to “perfection”(maturity) and “not be tossed around by every wind of (false) doctrine.”

One more thing you can do to bring more of God’s presence in your life is to develop a praise and worship attitude when your alone. Listen to some nice praise and worship music that is uplifting. I sure love to sing on my guitar and I know it blesses The Lord to hear us sing praises to His name.
