Can you think of someone that you would consider kind and compassionate? The world today focuses on too many people that are selfish and unkind. The kind and compassionate generally don’t favor the spotlight and can often be taken advantage of by those with more nefarious intentions. How did Jesus live His life? Knowing this, how do you think you should live yours?
And we pray:
Thank You Jesus for being my guide. I want to walk the path with You, arm in arm, with Your heart in mine. I have not always forgiven those that have trespassed against me, Lord, holding grudges that have burned inside me and caused me to hold onto evil thoughts. I pray that You will help me release these demons so that I can be more kind and compassionate, as Your Son, Jesus Christ, taught me. I pray this in His holy name, Amen.
