I have been contemplating ‘life’…

Everything is! We do not need (momentarily) to consider Where it all came from! We must admit that there is order. Earth has gravity, the planets is our Solar system have an order despite what anyone says. We just launched a missile to alter the course of an asteroid – successfully so: The investigation team will now observe Dimorphos using ground-based telescopes to confirm that DART’s impact altered the asteroid’s orbit. https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/nasa-s-dart-mission-hits-asteroid-in-first-ever-planetary-defense-test

Yet, The Universe has existed in its norm without the intervention of Man! What I need to point out is the Solar system size in the Universe.

The planets in our solar system orbit around the sun. One orbit of the Earth takes one year. Meanwhile, our entire solar system – our sun with its family of planets, moon, asteroid and comets – orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Our sun and solar system move at about about 500,000 miles an hour (800,000 km/hr) in this huge orbit. So in 90 seconds, for example, we all move some 12,500 miles (20,000 km) in orbit around the galaxy’s center.

Our Milky Way galaxy is a big place. Even at this blazing speed, it takes the sun approximately 225-250 million years to complete one journey around the galaxy’s center.

This amount of time – the time it takes us to orbit the center of the galaxy – is sometimes called a cosmic year.

I share this for a reason: “What is ‘Time’?”

Time is familiar to everyone, yet it’s hard to define and understand. Science, philosophy, religion, and the arts have different definitions of time, but the system of measuring it is relatively consistent.

Clocks are based on seconds, minutes, and hours. While the basis for these units has changed throughout history, they trace their roots back to ancient Sumeria. The modern international unit of time, the second, is defined by the electronic transition of the cesium atom. But what, exactly, is time?

Scientific Definition

Physicists define time as the progression of events from the past to the present into the future. Basically, if a system is unchanging, it is timeless. Time can be considered to be the fourth dimension of reality, used to describe events in three-dimensional space. It is not something we can see, touch, or taste, but we can measure its passage.

So, at the moment you read this what ‘Time’ is it on Pluto? Pluto, the ninth planet in our solar system, was not discovered until 1930 and remains a very difficult world to observe because it’s so far away. At an average distance of 2.7 billion miles from the Earth, Pluto is a dim speck of light in even the largest of our telescopes. I will ask what ‘Time’ it is in the galaxy GN-z11 which seems to be the farthest detectable galaxy from us, at 13.4 billion light-years, or 134 nonillion kilometers. Time if described by philosophy, Science, Religion is the progression of events from the past to the present into the future. Basically, if a system is unchanging, it is timeless.

Psalm 100:5 says, “For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” The same is true with His knowledge, sovereignty, holiness, power, faithfulness, goodness, patience, grace, and even His wrath. His attributes never change. God’s will never changes. God is unchanging, thus ‘Time’ does not exist for/to God.

Hold on to God’s Unchanging Hand!” – Romans 8:35.

Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” If God has ever been good, then He will always be good because He never changes!Ju

We start to refer to The Bible to understand God Who Spoke it into being. Our story has already been Written. Life is a blip!

My contemplation is as a result of my experience, yet I ‘saw’ nothing and experienced so very much.

Ex 33:18-23 depicts Moses who asks God to show him His glory. Instead The Lord agrees to proclaim His name before Moses, telling him that it is impossible for a huMan being to see God’s face.

Isaiah had a vision: The vision (probably in the Jerusalem Temple) that made him a prophet is described in a first-person narrative. According to this account he “saw” God and was overwhelmed by his contact with the divine glory and holiness.

Ezekiel had a remarkable vision. From the midst of the amazing thing he saw, he heard The Voice of God. He fell on his face, and The Voice of God said to him, “Mortal, stand up! I have something to say to you.” Again, not seeing, but experiencing The Presence of God.

John saw a vision of God the Father sitting upon His throne surrounded by 24 elders and 4 beasts. John also saw the celestialized earth and all of God’s exalted creations worshipping Him.

And we pray:

Heavenly Father, Your Essence has written our story. Use me LORD to do Your will. I was Created for a reasons, LORD fulfill Your purpose for me. Father, as You sent Your Seraphim forth to touch Isaiah’s lips with a burning coal – “With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for. Isaiah 6:7” I am unclean and unworthy, renew me Lord. Oh Lord, create in me a clean heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me! Hear the cries of my heart right now, for the uncleanliness that surrounds me is what the enemy has sought to use against me to kill and destroy me. I declare, that by Your sovereign power and the faith that I have in You, I will be made clean for I am Yours and You came so that I may have life in You more abundantly. Amen.
